This was William Parish Tuplin, the son of William Henry Tuplin and Eliza (nee May).  He was born at Kirton in Lindsey, Lincolnshire in 1889 and died of wounds at No 6 Clearing Hospital, Bethune, France.  His death is also commemorated on the memorial plaque on the wall of S****horpe Museum. 

In the 1911 census he was shown to be serving in the army in Aden.  He was with the British Expeditionary Force at the commencement of World War I.

At the time of his death his home address was in S****horpe.
