Gordon Anderson was born on February 17th 1885 and was the fourth son of William Charles and Mary Anderson of Hill House, Keston, and the husband of Cicely Charlotte Norris of 21 Draycott Place, Chelsea.  After Charterhouse, he was commissioned into the Royal Army Service Corps.  He died in London on 20th November 1918, aged 34, of wounds received in action.  His grave is in the south-east corner of Keston Churchyard, Keston, Kent (between Bromley and Biggin Hill).
