George Kenneth Hampton started work in the head office of the Norwich Union Life Insurance as a junior clerk in 1913. On the outbreak of war he joined the Norfolk Regiment 1st/4th Battalion and had reached the rank of Lieutenant when he was killed in action in Gallipoli. He was 21.
