We went into Clothall church and stumbled upon the reference to Harry Hollingsworth, in the war memorial so sad. It's also possible that Harry was a relative, as my grandfather lived in nearby Weston, Oswald Hollingsworth Smith, son of Kate Hollingsworth, and we knew we had relatives in Clothall. I think of Wilfred Owen and all the other young men that did not return and those that returned with the horrors of war and such waste on all sides, the mass of red poppies in the fields are a sad reminder
