I aquired the medals and Dead Man's Penny for Albert Henry Spencer around 20 years ago. After finding out what I could, I had the honour of placing a poppy under his name on the Cambrai memorial. I place a poppy cross by the war memorial in Croydon in his memory each year. I have no idea if he has any descendants, but feel it is right to remember one long forgotten individual soldier.
