Angus Calder Macaulay was one of the Birmingham 'Pals'

living in Birmingham with his parents John and Jessie Macaulay, sisters Hectorina and Annie, little brother William, my father.

Very little is known about him, but we know that he was a talented artist and engraver who had plans to work in France.

He was involved in the battle of 'High Wood' and is commemorated at Thiepval Monument.
