Mr Cross, although we are not related, we have an affiliation. I live not very far away from Belton Park in Grantham, where I know you would have trained before going off to war. I also have a bit more of an understanding of your training than some as I have seen the episode of 'Time Team' where they excavate some parts of the old MGC camp at Belton Park. I am aware that your training was brief by modern standards but specialist all the same. Thank you for what you did.
