John was brother of our Granpa, Jim Park.   My Gran was Mary Hamilton.  Her brother, Gilbert Hamilton, was also at a the Somme and died 3 days after John Park.  We don't know if my grandparent knew each other at that time or of John and Gilbert knew each other were there.  2 young men from the same place in Scotland. We will visit the memorial one day. From Lesley and your other great nieces and nephews.
