(Annie Cameron died at Pier House after a lingering illness. Her husband, Archibald, died at Rose Cottage aged 86. He was employed as a roadman and lived at Glengalmadale for some years before moving to Pier Cottage when he became the Pier Master. Known locally as 'Archie Pier')"
