Private Lloyd Douglas Stevenson S/N 7800.

Born 12th May 1896 at Port Frederick- Devonport Tasmania. The son of John Mawer (Moore) Stevenson and Eliza Stevenson (nee McGinty)he embarked Melbourne, Victoria on "HMAT A32 Themistocles" 4th August 1917 with the 91st Battalion. 

He was serving in the 12th Battalion 26th reinforcement when he was killed in action on 23rd April 1918 and is commemorated in the Meteren Military Cemetery, Meteren, Nord, France He was 21yrs old. 

His brother Lemuel Mervyn Stevenson S/N 3126 was also killed in action 28th January 1917 and is commemorated in the London Rifle Brigade Cemetery, Comines - Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.
