We are trying to find the.ittle town in France where my grandfather was stationed before he went in to active service he fixed the town clock that had not worked for many years and I believe he was the towns hero. He never came home dying of injuries on 23rd October 1917. I would very much appreciate any information that I could receive about him many thanks
