Born in Kensington, London, in 1877 to Sidney R. Chesterton and Catherine E. Chesterton, he had 3 siblings. He practicised as an Architect, working predominantly in London. He had at least 1 child, Sir Oliver Chesterton, known for Chesterton & Co. Estate Agents and as Chairman of the Woolwich Building Society. Frank's work includes No. 9 Young Street, Kensington, 1905; No. 13 Kensington High Street; No. 4a and 5 Sloane Street, London; Horton Court; and Forthampton Court, Gloucestershire in 1914.
