distant cousin Edward you died so young 17 years old at the battle of gheluvelt in October 1915. it must have broken your mums Marys heart when she got the letter of your death as you were really just a boy in a mans war but this in no way takes away have brave you were as the battle wounds took you away from her. I cant imagine the pain and suffering you went through I can only feel reassured that now your in gods hands amongst your pals. I put your grave on here not only in respect but so anyone alive today can see where you lay amongst Flanders fields wear the poppies grow row upon row where our hearts go to those lost and died so long ago. god bless Edward always remembered with respect and pride.
