Harry Oatway, as he was known, was the 4th cousin of my Grandfather, and I have extensively researched his life after finding his name on a nearby Cenotaph. He moved to Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada in 1914, and became a Clerk for the Canadian Pacific Railway. He enlisted on Nov 1st, 1915 with Vancouver's new 72nd Seaforth Highlander Regiment. He fought with them through several battles in France then was KIA at the famous Battle of Vimy Ridge. He was survived by a sister and parents back in Bristol, England.
