On a recent visit (Oct 15) to the Western Front I visited The Thiepval Memorial where I discovered I had a relative who gave his life whilst fighting on The Somme in the 13th battalion of The Essex Regiment. I have undertaken some research & William Frank Start was a cousin of my late grandfather. I have more research to do
