When I saw everymanremembered.org I wondered if anybody in my family had fought in WW1 and more importantly fought but who had then been forgotten over time. I dug my family tree out and there he was Frederick William Farrant, my Grandmothers uncle. My Grandmother would have been 3 years old when Frederick died so unfortunately I know nothing except his date of birth and death. Thanks to everymanremembered I know have a bit more information about him. My daughter will be 18 on 3rd September which makes his age at time of death especially poignant. God bless Fredeck.
