29/4/1883 born John 'Jack' Done to Elizabeth;1891 census lodging 37 Acton St Manchester Eng. Brother Frank aged 2. 1893 Eliz died age 29. Boys assumed entered Child Refuge that sent John in 1895 to Marchmont Home Belleville Ontario for re-homing. 1903 John was homesteader on landgrant Tramping Lake Saskatchewan. 1911 Farmer in same area Battlefield Sask. 29/3/16 signed up aged 33 height 5' 4/5 " Dark complexion Grey eyes Black hair; with no next of kin but friends*(Frank presumably in Manchester and separatedfrom Jack, appears to have sailed to Canada with same charity in 1904, married Catherine Doolan, served as professional soldier before and after 1WW living into retirement in Ontario) *assume John & Mrs Burrows, fellow methodists lived Kerr Robert township. 11/3/1917 John age 34 died of heart failure.

Sadly, I suspect that if John and Frank were separated into different homes due to age difference it explains their separate journeys and no ref to Frank as next of kin. However, we Will remember them both, serving in WW1.
