My two great uncles Robert & James Sime were 21 & 24 years old when they died in Britain worst rail disaster.

They were members of the 7th Battalion the Royal Scots on their way to Liverpool to embark on the troopship Aquitania to sail for Gallipoli., when their train was hit by a Glasgow bound express train another train then hit the wreckage.

In all 216 members of the Battalion were killed.
