Through rather random online searches I found out tonight that my great-grandfather Pio sadly lost his life alongside 500 of his friends and shipmates on HMS Goliath in Gallipoli in May 1915. His children (my grandmother, great aunt and uncle) have since passed too but an interest and pride in his life and achievements will continue to live on. Thank you for doing your part and serving Great-grandpa Pio xx
