Richard Williams was born in Chipping Campden in 1890, the son of Richard and Margaret Williams. He died a very long way from home and has always been remembered down the years. Both my grandfather and my uncle have Richard as a middle name. I wish I knew more about him but all those that would remember are long dead and when they were alive it wasn't something to ask questions about as it was too painful them even after 60 plus years. Thank you Richard for you sacrifice - we remember you still.
