All my growing up life my brothers and i always thought our Grandad was mums real dad. Since tracing my family tree, i have found that Edwin Sayer was mums real dad and he died in 1918 when mum was just 5 years old.My mother was born in St Ives, and her mother was a Roden of St Ives. Hence William Roden was My Great Uncle. There are many descendants of Edwin Sayer as I and my brothers have 20 children between us and numerous grandchildren. I have a photo of Edwin Sayer and will try and send to you when i have uploaded it on to my laptop.
