LAWRENCE BUCHANAN-Son of John Buchanan, formerly of Neepawa, enlisted in the Neepawa Company of the 226th Battalion in the spring of 1916. He was killed in action at the Battle of Passchendale. He was a messenger, and it is told of him that he delivered his last message after his neck had been broken.
