Arthur Rimer lived in the house in Oxshott with his parents & sister that I was brought up in & own now. He belonged to the local club & may well have played snooker there as did I. He worked in Kingston as a solicitor probably taking the train & then a bus as I did when I was a student in Kingston. Our lives may have been fairly similar until the time that he enlisted. He was wounded in France & died in Brighton. I wonder if his family were with him. They brought him back & he is buried in the the local churchyard.
