Henry Alfred Dowthwaite was known as Alfred, married to Mabel, brother to Albert Edward Arthur Dowthwaite from Wellington NZ.  Alfred worked at the Harbour board, he served for Wellington Infantry Regiment and as killed in action at Ypres, Belgium 31/07/1917.  His photo is from the Weekly News 1917.

His brother Albert married Mary Davis and had two boys, George Lawrence and Gerald Mervyn.
