I just want to thank you Arthur for what you and others did on August 7th 1915  that cost you your precious lives.  I know you were a much loved Son and Grandson.  I wish I'd known you.  My Great, Great Grandad was your Grandad William Rutherford.  I have been researching our family history and found out that you served as well as your brother in 'The Great War'.  From what I've learnt of the battles in August 1915 the Kiwis and Aussies lost a staggering amount of men..  We remember you  all on ANZAC day 25th April and I will be remembering you especially on behalf of my family.
