Angus was the sixth child of Joseph Laforce and Susan French.  Joseph was Iroquois and Susan, of Scotish decent.   Angus had twelve siblings with many of them raising famalies in the Buckingam, Que area.  Relatives still remain in this area.  

His brother Murdock joined the 139th Northumberland Co, Overseas Battilion at Ottawa  Jan - Apr 1916. Murdock returned and married and raised a family. 

 He married Dora Clemenhaghen.
