Fred was from Bury Elton Lancashire England. While serving at palace barracks in northern ireland 1909 he married Margaret Diane my ggr gran. They had 5 children,Ellen (my gran)  Frederick George, Sammy, Isabel, Jeanie. He was a brave courageous man frm his ggr grandson Robert mc Reynolds
