This is my great uncle Walter, who was born in 1893 in Wemyss in Fife. His family later settled in Gilmerton, to the south of Edinburgh.

He wass one of 6 children born to John Rapahel Clarkson and Ellen Adams Wilson. His parents divorced around 1898.  Both parents remarried and  Elizabeth Marr is his stepmother.
