870 Private Frederick Aubrey Agutter, enlisted during August 1914 in Queensland (15th Battalion) and died on board the SS 'Ceramic' of sunstroke when only a few days from Egypt and was buried at sea, 27 January 1915. He is remembered on the Chatby Memorial, Alexandria, Egypt. He was born on the 21 July 1886 and was 28 years of age.

His elder brother, 34686 Corporal Albert Edward Agutter, 110th Howitzer Battery, 10th F.A.B., enlisted during November 1916, and arrived in Liverpool England on the 27th August 1917. He was sent to France during October 1917 and suffered gas wounds on the 9th August 1918. He was sent back to England to attend an Artillery Cadet School on the 24th October 1918 but sadly contracted influenza and pneumonia only a few days later and died in the Harefield Hospital on the 31st October 1918. He was buried in the Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey, England, Plot IV, Row K, Grave 11.

The two brothers were the only sons of Frederick Samuel and Mary Jane Agutter, Wyanbah, Calypso Avenue, Mosman, New South Wales.
