James Percival Teare was previously employed as a clerk in the goods department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway at Liverpool North Docks. He is one of 1465 of the companies employed by the LYR who are know to have fallen. His name appears on the LYR Memorial at Manchester Victoria station
