Harry, as one Harry to another, I do not know the circumstances of your death, nor why your remains were not recovered from the field of battle, but I can still salute you as the brave soldier you undoubtedly were, who died in the service of his country and who was commemorated with so many other Lincolns on the Menin Gate. As a former Lincolns man myself, I know the sincere meaning of the Last Post, sounded in your honour by the buglers at the Menin Gate. My sympathy to your relatives who mourned your sacrifice. Rest in Peace. Harry.
