How strange but wonderful to be able to commemorate the life of a family member I never met, but heard so much about, and on the 98th anniversary of his death. He was the younger brother of my grandfather Frederick Stokes. They went to war together, but after grandad was wounded and wasn't there to look after him Albert was killed, and only days before the battle he was fighting in was won. My grandfather was devastated, and on behalf of him I share this act of remembrance
