I am sorry that I do not know your Christian name, but when I too joined the Lincolns nearly forty years after you, at least they taught me how to salute. So I now salute you as a brave young soldier who died for his country. I also remember with grateful thanks the nine of your comrades in the 6th Service Battalion who perished on the same day that you did while fighting the Turks at Suvla, Gallipoli. My sympathy to your parents and other relatives who mourned your sacrifice. Rest in Peace. Harry.
