William McClelland is my Grandfathers brother, we know he was injured on 6th November 1914 and my Great Grandparents had put a notice in the paper that he was missing. My Grandfather related a story that whilst he was recovering from his injury from gunshot wounds in March 1915, a funeral was taking place and it transpired it was that of his brother. William died of his wounds in Dublin Castle Red Cross Hospital on 26th March 1915.
