I am sorry that I do not know your Christian name, but that does not prevent me from saluting you as a brave soldier who died in the service of his country. I too served in the Lincolns, but it was 40 years after you, and in peacetime, not in wartime. From your place of burial it seems most likely that you were a member of the 6th Service Battalion of the Lincolns who landed at Suvla Bay and who were then involved in fighting the Turks. You were one of ten colleagues who died on the same day as you. I trust that you were given a Guard of Honour at your funeral who fired the traditional salute to fallen comrades.  My sympathy to your family who mourned your sacrifice. Rest in Peace. Harry.
