Thomas, you were a member of 154 Siege Battery in which my uncle, Gunner William Harrison, was also serving at the same time as you. I read about your death in the Battery history, when an enemy shell landed on your dugout, and nine of you perished at the same time. I salute you as a brave soldier who died in the service of his country. I guess you were all buried at the same time in Vlamertingue, so would have had a Guard of Honour to fire the salute. My sympathy to your relatives who mourned your sacrifice. Rest in Peace. Harry.
