Robert, I know you served in 154 Siege Battery RGA, for this was the battery in which my uncle Gunner William Harrison was serving at the time you died. I read about your death in the Battery history written by Captain Walker. You were one of nine comrades who died on the same occasion when an enemy shell hit the dugouts in the left section. I salute you as a brave soldier who died in the service of his country. I guess you were all buried on the same day at Vlamertinghe, so you would have had a Guard of Honour to salute you. My sympathy to your relatives who mourned your loss. Rest in Peace. Harry.
