John Buck was 33 years old when he was killed on 2nd November 1918 - just before the war ended, leaving his wife Emmie and four young daughters, one of whom was my mother, then aged 5.   His grave is in France.

As far as I am aware, no family photo exists of John Buck. His name appears on the war memorial in Redgrave, Suffolk.
