William Beeson was my great uncle. Son of Samuel and Mary Ann Beeson and brother of Alfred, Samuel and Mary Ann (my grandmother), born 18th April 1899. He served with the Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) in France and died 24th April 1918. He had just turned 19 years old.
