Thomas, You were most likely serving in the same unit as a distant cousin of mine. I came to this conclusion from reading the unit history of the 7th Battalion, from the date of your death, and from the place of your burial. You must have participated in the attack on Suvla Bay, where so many of your comrades and you died. I trust that the Guard of Honour at your funeral service fired the traditional salute to a fallen comrade. My sympathy to your relatives who mourned your sacrifice. Rest in Peace. Harry.
