Stephen, I am led to believe, from the official diary of the 7th Battalion, and from the date of your death and where you were buried, that you were a member of that unit, serving alongside my own distant cousin. It must have been an absolutely terrible time for you squaddies in the fierce fighting that took place when you landed at Suvla Bay in Gallipoli. I trust that the Guard of Honour at your funeral service fired the traditional salute to a fallen comrade. My sympathy to your relatives who mourned your sacrifice. Rest in Peace. Harry.
