Charles, it must have been quite unusual for there to have been another man in your battalion with the same name as you and I had to make sure by checking your service numbers that there were indeed two of you with the same name. But you both deserve praise for being brave soldiers. It was in the landing at Suvla Bay that you both died after fierce hand-to-hand fighting. My sympathy to your relatives who mourned your loss.
