Nearly a hundred years ago, this man gave his life so that we could enjoy our freedoms.

I started as he did, Pte (well, Sig) G Duffy, I served for 25 years and was fortunate enough not to be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Thanks to this man and all other fellow service men and women who have since paid that ultimate price, in this and all  other conflicts, our entire population owe them an enduring debt.

We can live in a country where our freedom to speak and have an opinion is our right.

We MUST remember them.
