James, I do not know you but was moved to tears just reading your name while searching someone to commemorate. I was instantly drawn to you and want to thank you for sacrificing your life, so I could have mine.

I cant imagine what it must have felt like, all those years ago, you leaving home to fight the war. I'm sure that you never even imagined that 100 years later, someone who wasnt even born would be remembering you and typing out these words.  Thank you just doesnt seem enough. I hope wherever you are, you are resting peacefully x
