Henry, or should I call you Harry? I am more than happy to commemorate you, since we share the same names. I was a private soldier when I did my National Service, but I was an infantryman, not a cavalryman, so I hope I do not make any mistakes. Since you are commemorated on the Menin Gate I think it most likely that you were involved in the Battle of Bellewarde Ridge, May 24-25th and you experienced a poison gas attack. The German attack fell most heavily on the part of the line held by the Cavalry Division, and this is where you most likely lost your life. Henry, I salute you as a brave soldier who died in the service of his country. Sincere sympathy to your family who  kourned your loss. Rest in Peace. Harry.
