David Mason was born in Portadown, Northern Ireland in 1886.  He was one of nine children (4 sisters & 4 brothers) born to Richard & Sara Jane Mason.  He died in Gallipoli and is buried in Lancaster Landing Cemetary in Turkey.  David had 3 children and his decendants remain in Scotland.  His wider family circle still live in Portadown.  David was my great grand uncle.
