Duncan, I came across your name when browsing computer records, and I cannot understand why your name does not seem to be included on any of the local war memorials, in  Kilmorack, Kiltarlity or Kirkhill. But I can now remedy that omission. Since your name is recorded on the Loos Memorial I assume that your remains were not recovered from the field of battle when the Germans attacked in strength on 9th April after several days of heavy shelling. This was the day you paid the supreme sacrifice. Duncan, I salute you as the brave soldier you undoubtedly were. Rest in Peace. Harry.
