Army Number 5698, Private Richard Ralf Parrack died at the Battle of the Somme on 17th October 1916 aged 36 years old. The particulars of this day were relayed as Temperature 55 degrees farenhiet, frost but a fine day, turning to rain at night, 3mm of rain fell.
