Husband to Mabel, Father to Dorothy Grandfather to 4, and loved Great Grandfather due to Mabel keeping his memory alive with stories of their life together and how much she constantly missed him.  He was a Mental Health nurse/orderly at St Albans Mental Institution, who volunteered to serve late due to his profession being protected, he wanted to serve his country with his colleagues and unfortunately was killed a month before the war's end.  Sadly missed.
