David Smallpage Hindle. Emigrated to Canada in 1911, he worked as a railway clerk in Regina. Joined up when war declared, initially enlisted in the 11th Battalion and returned to England as part of The First Canadian Contingent. Transferred to 7th Battalion prior to leaving for France. Died in the Second Battle of Ypres during the first gas attacks of the war.
